In them, mathematics is told in a truley story-like way (what a suprise), not often without a cliff-hanger or two — making you excited to discover a new topic.
Speaking of discovering things: for us it is very important to keep the spirit of discovery alive becuase mathematics is not a dull subject where you just study textbook after textbook. No, no — that is actually the completely wrong way to learn math. In mathematics you can indeed discover everything yourself. Without any outside help — just you, a bit of time, and pencil&paper is all you need. So when we cover a topic at Mathematics Visualized, we do not start from the top by listing dozens of definitions followed by a short, modern proof. We tell you a Story - the whole Story. The Story of how one might have discovered this topic, questioning lots of things along the way, until we reach the point of how it is viewed today.
Although our database is still quite limited today, we strive to expand it day by day. Each week, we add Story after Story, render dozens of beautiful animations, and optimize the platform in every way possible — all to achieve our long-term goal: to establish a platform where practically all the mathematics humanity has already discovered is presented in a neat and easy-to-understand way — making it possible for everyone to learn mathematics and discover its beauty.
