About
Mathematics is one of the most important things in the world and may even be the foundation of the universe itself. It is encountered literally everywhere in our daily lives, and no new innovation comes without at least a small ingenious insight into the mathematics behind it. That is why I believe it is essential for humanity to have some kind of record of all the core mathematical ideas we have already discovered.
However, not an old-fashioned, Wikipedia-style reference from which nobody can really learn or comprehend anything, but a truly innovative platform — one where each topic is presented in a way that allows you to immediately grasp the essence of the various concepts, understand how they were discovered and, in doing so, retrace the epic journey of mathematical discovery we have been on so far.
That is why I started this project and began writing stories about mathematics. I focus on explaining things in a highly intuitive way, supported by dozens of animated videos that give beautiful visual insights into even the deepest and most complex topics. And I pay just as much attention to the historical side of things. Connecting the dots from the moment a concept was first discovered, to how it was developed further, and finally to what it has become today is an enlightening experience in its own right.
For now, this is simply a project I love working on, and I have no idea how far it will go. I am also not a professional mathematician. Everything I know, I taught myself by reading books and setting out on my own journeys of discovery, so there may be a few inaccuracies here and there. I hope they won't spoil the fun. After all, I am still on that journey myself, and every story I add lets me explore some topic at a whole new level of detail. On top of that, each new story (or video of course) brings the project one step closer to that long-term goal — so I think it is definitely worth continuing for now.

Support
Let me be honest: working on this project is pure fun for me. There is hardly anything I would rather spend my time on, and I do it simply for the joy of it. So nobody owes anything here. That said, I am of course genuinely happy about every bit of support, whether it is a new subscriber, a patron or an idea you send in.

PatreonMonetary Support via Bitcoin
Financial support is, needless to say, crucial for this project. If you prefer to give directly, donating via Bitcoin is also possible.
BitcoinHand in Your Ideas
A purely non-monetary way of supporting: if you have interesting stories about mathematics yourself, write an article about them and send it in.
